Privacy Policy

At Visuland, we are committed to protecting users’ privacy and maintaining a strong bond of trust with our customers. This Privacy Policy explains the use of information collected via our Website, the Visuland service and our customer service operations (collectively, “Visuland” or the "Service") that we operate. Your use of the Service on your website, making it available for your users (from now on referred to as “the user” or “users”) indicates to us that you have read and accept our privacy practices, as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

As further described below, we collect and maintain a range of data in order to provide our services to the users and maintain a safe and secure platform. Access to the user’s personal information is limited to (a) WebLords Ltd. employees, and (b) service providers under contract who help with our business operations (such as to provide or help Visuland provide products or services to users, provide payment, billing or similar services, or perform anti-fraud functions). As used in this Privacy Policy, the term “personal information” means any real world information that readily may be used to identify an individual, including but not limited to a first and last name, home or other physical address, an email address, phone number or other contact information.


This Privacy Policy refers to the online service Visuland and any websites operated by WebLords Ltd. where this policy appears in the footer of the page (the “Websites”). It is divided into the following sections:

The Information We Collect and How We Collect It

We collect a range of personal information and usage statistics to maintain a high-quality user experience and deliver superior customer service. We request some information directly from users during their registration. We gather other pieces of data indirectly from Website traffic, the users’ computer hardware and Internet connection, or the users’ Visuland activities, communications and usage.

There are thus different levels of information we collect, depending upon the users’ relationship to WebLords Ltd. and how they use the Service:

Website Visitor: If the users use Visuland, we automatically record information related to their IP address, WebLords Ltd. cookie information, and aggregate information on what content they access or visit.

Mailing List Member: If the users provide us personal information in order to subscribe to our mailing list, we collect information to aid delivery and preferences such as e-mail address and message performance statistics.

Registered Website Member: If the users register in Visuland or on any of our Websites, we will track broad site usage information as well as aggregate usage of any Website community features such as downloads and forums.

Visuland User: If the users install or use Visuland software, we collect and aggregate a variety of data to monitor system and simulation performance, and to verify their unique identity. This includes specific and general information about their computer hardware and Internet connection, which are stored together but are not personally identifiable. We track usage of customer service resources in order to ensure high quality interactions.

In-World Conduct: We may collect and retain any other information relating to the users’ account data or in-world activities including chat or IM logs, IP address and logs, places visited in Visuland.

Information about your users’ partners: As long as the users have Visuland installed, or are running it from your website, the application will collect the account names of their partners who also use Visuland. It is very important to emphasize that this kind of data collection is anonymous, and nothing more than the account name will be stored (e.g. names, e-mail adresses, other kinds of personal data will not be stored). After they uninstall Visuland, the data gained and collected this way, will be deleted.

Additionally there are a few special situations to note:

Intellectual Property Claim Notices: If a user notifies us of an intellectual property claim, the information in the claim notice may be shared with other parties to the disagreement or third parties in our discretion and as required by law. We believe that sharing intellectual property claim information with other parties helps resolve the disagreement in many cases. For more information, see our Intellectual Property Policy.

Service Beta User: If any of the users volunteers to serve as a beta user for pre-commercial content, we will track bug reports and potentially individual system performance in an effort to rigorously test technology before it is deployed.

Former Customer: If a user ceases being a Visuland user, we will keep a copy of their registration file in our database for use in the event they wish to rejoin Visuland, and for anti-fraud and other purposes.

We May Communicate With or Email You: You agree that WebLords Ltd. (including through its agents) may communicate with you and the users via email and any similar technology for any purpose relating to the Service,  and any services or software which may in the future be provided by WebLords Ltd or on our behalf.

Visuland’s Protection and Disclosure of Your Users’ Information

Except under certain limited circumstances set forth here and in our Terms of Sevice (“Terms of Service”), WebLords Ltd. does not disclose to third parties the personal information or other account-related information the users provide us, such as IP address, without their permission. It has to be understood , however, that WebLords Ltd. may disclose the user’s personal or other account-related information under the following circumstances:

If we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary under applicable law, or to comply with legal process served on WebLords Ltd.;

In order to protect and defend the rights or interests of WebLords Ltd., Visuland or the users of Visuland;

In order to report to law enforcement authorities, or assist in their investigation of, suspected illegal or wrongful activity, or to report any instance in which we believe a person may be in danger;

To service providers with whom we have contracted to assist us with Visuland features or operations (such as anti-fraud functions, billing, collections, registration, customer support, email delivery, age verification), to fulfill service requests, offer new content or help us improve our Service. Our contracts with these third parties prohibit them from using any of your personal information for purposes unrelated to the product or service they are providing;

To other third parties (a) to provide the users with services they have requested, (b) to offer the users information about our Service (e.g., events or features), or (c) to whom the users explicitly ask us to send your information (or about whom the users are otherwise explicitly notified and consent to when using a specific service). For instance, we may provide certain information to our payment processor, to credit card associations, banks or issuers (if you are using a credit card), to PayPal (if the user is using a PayPal account), or to providers of other services the users request. If the users choose to use these third parties’ products or services, then their use of the users’ information is governed by their privacy policies. Users should evaluate the practices of third party providers before deciding to use their services; and

To other business entities, should we plan to merge with or be acquired by that business entity. Should such a combination occur, we will require that the new combined entity follow this Privacy Policy with respect to the users personal information. If the user’s personal information will be used contrary to this policy, the user will receive prior notice.

Information Displayed to or Collected By Other Users

Certain account information is displayed to other users in the user’s Visuland profile, and may be available through automated script calls and application program interfaces. This information includes the user’s account name, account type, the date the account was established, whether or not the user is currently online, user rating information, group and partner information, and whether or not the user has established a payment account or transaction history with WebLords Ltd. Further, users agree and understand that WebLords Ltd. does not control and is not responsible for information, privacy or security practices concerning data that users provide to, or that may otherwise be collected by, Visuland users other than WebLords Ltd. For instance, some services operated by Visuland users may provide content that is accessed through and located on third party (non-WebLords Ltd.) servers that may log IP addresses.

Visuland’s Use of Cookies


A cookie is a small string of data which often includes an anonymous unique identifier sent to the user’s browser from a website's computers, and stored on the hard drive of the user1s computer. Each website can send its own cookie to browsers if the browser's preferences allow it, but (to protect user privacy) the user’s browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent to the user, not the cookies sent to the user by other sites.

Browsers can be configured to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or notify the user when a cookie is set. (Each browser is different, so the "Help" menu of the browser should be checked to learn how to change cookie preferences.) However, if the user rejects all cookies, the user may not be able to use certain of our (or other companies’) web pages.

WebLords Ltd. and third parties acting on our behalf use cookies for a number of purposes relating to the Websites including to:

Access user account information when the user "logs in" to our Websites, forums, or other areas;

Keep track of the user’s Website session data, and

Keep track of certain information that is then aggregated (i.e., not connected to personal information), such as how the users use our Websites, what web pages they visit, and the frequency and length of those visits.

Third Party Advertisements

WebLords Ltd. participates in ad and/or affiliate networks operated by various third party companies. These companies collect and may use certain anonymous information about the users’ visits to our Websites as a function of referring Internet traffic to our Websites. We do not permit these companies to collect any personal information about users, such as their name, address, or email address; however, we do permit these companies to collect the users’ IP address. These companies may set and use cookies, web beacons, pixels, or other technologies to collect anonymous information about visits to our Websites, and may otherwise aggregate, analyze and anonymize that data. If the user seeks information about these specialized advertising technologies, the Network Advertising Initiative offers useful information about Internet advertising companies (also called "ad networks" or "network advertisers"), including information about how to opt-out of their information collection.

Disclosing Personal Information in Profiles, Forums or within Visuland

Users may choose to disclose personal information in our online forums, via their Visuland profile, directly to other users in chat or otherwise while using Visuland. One should be aware that such information is public information and one should not expect privacy or confidentiality of this information.

Amendment of this Policy.

We may need to update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in the types of information we collect, the means we use to collect information, or our usage of collected information. We will make reasonable efforts to alert the users to these changes when they occur. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to our Websites. Users may update the personal data they provide to us during registration by contacting our support portal.

Intellectual Property Policy

The following describes how WebLords treats trademark, copyright, and celebrity issues in-world. Our explanation is for informational purposes only and should not be treated as legal advice. If you seek legal advice on your rights in a specific situation, please contact a lawyer.


Trademarked and celebrity material

WebLords responds to complaints that content infringes trademarked or celebrity material. Trademarked material includes trademarked logos, trademarked brand names, and trade dress, which is the distinctive visual appearance of a product or its packaging.

It is often difficult to tell what may or may not be trademarked or protected as trade dress. However, use of designer logos and brand names without permission is usually not acceptable. If you don't have permission, please don't just use a misspelling of the brand name, for example, "Njke" instead of "Nike" – instead, create your own original brand name that's associated uniquely with you!

Please also be aware that celebrities have a "right of publicity", which means that they have a right to control commercial uses of their name, image, likeness, and other aspects of their identity. Although you may be a fan, you risk infringing celebrity rights if you use a celebrity name or likeness in connection with your avatar, and you don't have the celebrity's permission.


If you are a trademark owner or a celebrity and you believe your rights have been infringed in Visuland, please submit a notification of infringement in writing to:

To submit a notification, you must be the intellectual property owner or an authorized agent of the intellectual property owner. Do not submit an abuse report. Requests to remove allegedly infringing content are not handled through the abuse process.


When submitting a notification of trademark or trade dress infringement, provide a copy of the original relevant trademark. Please also provide the location in Visuland where you believe the infringement is occurring, and the name of the Visuland Resident whom you claim is infringing.

However, your search results may not tell you whether a particular use is "OK". If you're concerned that material you're using may conflict with another's trademark or intellectual property rights, we suggest you speak to an attorney.

Copyrighted material

Linden Lab follows the procedures described in the 1999. LXXVI. Statue (Copyright Statue, hereinafter CS) regarding copyrighted materials. Learn more about WebLords's CS policy.

Notifications of copyright infringement must be in writing and submitted to:

If a legally sufficient CS notice is submitted, WebLords will then remove the identified materials as appropriate. Repeated copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property violations by a Resident may result in their accounts being suspended or terminated.

Fee schedule and Billing Policy

The following billing and pricing policies apply to fees and charges for Visuland:

1. Users access Visuland through an account that does not have an access fee.

WebLords offers free access to the Service through accounts that require registration, but do not include an access fee or recurring charges for access to the Service ("Basic Accounts"). Only one Access Account is permitted per unique user; additional Basic Accounts for the same unique user require a one-time access payment. Uniqueness of users is determined in WebLords's sole discretion. The features and limitations of Basic Accounts are provided at WebLords's sole discretion.

2. Access, subscription fees and Private World Fees are payable in advance.

All charges for the Service are payable in advance. Private World Fees are charged once each month. WebLords is not responsible for any charges or expenses you incur resulting from charges billed by WebLords in accordance with these Terms of Service (e.g. overdrawn accounts, exceeding credit card limit, etc.). By providing a credit card number or other payment method with advance authorization features (e.g. some PayPal accounts), you authorize WebLords to continue charging the payment method for all charges due WebLords until your account is settled and is terminated by either you or WebLords. WebLords reserves the right to limit the number of accounts that may be charged to a credit card or other payment or identification method per unique user.

3. Recurring charges have billing periods, which are usually aligned to bill on a single day for each billing period.

Private Worlds are offered on a monthly basis. Monthly accounts will be billed monthly on the same date of each month (e.g. the 15th of each month), beginning on the day you start your subscription. 

4. Under certain circumstances, you may receive service credit for unscheduled downtime.

You will be eligible to receive Service Credit toward recurring service fees (e.g. monthly  fees) for Unscheduled Downtime. "Unscheduled Downtime" is an unplanned or unscheduled interruption in Service availability for a period of at least twenty-four (24) hours during which you are unable to access the Service. Unscheduled Downtime is measured from the end of the time the Service is 100% unreachable for a period of at least twenty-four (24) hours until Service is once again restored. The following are excluded from the calculation of Unscheduled Downtime: (i) scheduled maintenance downtime; (ii) problems outside of our Service (upstream providers, or your inbound connection) not affecting 100% loss to our Service; (iii) interruptions or failure of Service caused by you or your representatives (including inaccurate configuration, third-party software, abuse or over-utilization of resources, hacked servers, attacks, exploits, or server hardware failures); and (iv) causes beyond WebLords's reasonable control and occurring without WebLords's fault or negligence, including natural disasters, wars, terrorist acts, riots or other violent upheaval, governmental restrictions and actions, and performance failures of a third party outside WebLords's control. Any Service Credit will be credited to you during your next billing cycle.

WebLords may bill your account under very specific circumstances. All charges are deducted from from your credit card or PayPal account. Here is a list of the different types of charges that may occur:

Private World Fee (VAT excluded)

In addition to the initial charge / setup fee to buy a Private World, owners of Private Worlds pay a monthly fee to WebLords. Private World Fees are charged directly to your credit card or PayPal account. The prices are published on www.visuland.biz.

Trademark Guidelines

Proper use of WebLords's trademarks is highly important. It preserves the reputation of our brand and helps you identify our products and services.

Our trademarks include our word marks or brand names like Visuland® (both in text and in our distinctive font), WebLords™. They also include our distinctive logos like the Visuland World in a Marble logo and the WebLords logo.

If you'd like to use a WebLords trademark, you likely need our permission. Read the guidelines below on how to use our trademarks properly.

We've given journalists and media outlets special permission to use the Visuland Globe with headphone logo in published articles, blog entries, and news programs specifically about the Visuland virtual world, subject to our Guidelines and Terms and Conditions.

Unauthorized Uses of WebLords's Trademarks.
To protect our brand, there are certain ways that you cannot use our trademarks, including the Visuland brand name and our distinctive World in a Marble logo, without our written permission.

Proper Reference to WebLords's Brand Names in Text. If you'd simply like to refer to the Visuland virtual world or to another product or service of WebLords, read this section for how to do that properly in text.

You must refer to our products and services accurately in text in an informational or descriptive manner; and

You must not incorporate our trademarks in your branding or in any name of your product, service, business, organization, or second-level domain.

We would like to emphasize, that the Trademark Guidelines do not and cannot anticipate all the ways in which our trademarks may be used. We reserve our rights to update the Trademark Guidelines at any time and to act as we deem necessary to protect our trademark rights in any given situation. To avoid legal conflict we advise you to contact us before using a WebLords trademark.

Snapshot and Machinima Policy

WebLords gladly and proudly support those users of Visuland who are taking snapshots and making machinima in Visuland. The importance of this policy is that it gives copyright permissionssfor artists from WebLords and the Visuland community to make incredible pieces of art for all our enjoyment.

For artists, it’s important to have these copyright permissions if you are publishing and sharing your works. This policy gives broad copyright permissions for snapshots and machinima, but at the same time asks that you respect the privacy interests of members of the community.

1) Copyright Licenses

This is a legal permission that you can show anyone who’s interested:

As long as you comply with the terms and conditions below, both WebLords and the Residents of Visuland (collectively, “we”) grant you the following copyright licenses:

A License To Capture. You may take snapshots and capture machinima of the 3D content we created that is displayed in-world, and

A License To Use. You may use the resulting snapshot or machinima within or outside of Visuland in any current or future media.

“Use” means “use, reproduce, distribute, modify, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform.”

Both the License To Capture and the License To Use (collectively, the “Licenses”) are non-exclusive and royalty-free. In addition, the License To Use is worldwide, sublicenseable, and transferable.


2) License Conditions


The Licenses are subject to the following conditions:


(a) Private World Owner Consent for Snapshots and Machinima.

If you wish to take a snapshot or capture machinima of content on another Resident’s Private World, then you have to make arrangemens with the owner of the Private World about them.

For Visuland Core World where WebLords is the estate owner, you do not need land owner consent to take snapshots or capture machinima. WebLords only asks that you state at some part of the work that the captured 3D world is Visuland.

(b) Avatar Consent for Machinima.

For machinima, you must have the consent of all Residents whose avatars or Visuland names are featured or recognizable in the machinima. This includes avatars who are featured in a shot, avatars whose names are legible, and avatars whose appearance is sufficiently distinctive that they are recognizable by members of the Visuland community. Consent is not required if an avatar is not recognizable and is merely part of a crowd scene or shown in a fleeting background. Consent is not required for any snapshots.

(c) Other Intellectual Property Licenses.

It’s important to remember that the Licenses are only copyright licenses for the 3D content we created that is displayed in-world. They do not include any permission to use the trademarks of WebLords or Residents, and they do not give any copyright permission to use music or sound recordings, that may be performed in-world. They also do not give any copyright permission to use any website or video content that may be streamed from outside the Visuland virtual world environment.

If the content that you capture is subject to any trademark, service mark, trade dress, publicity rights, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights, you must obtain the necessary licenses and permissions to use the content, and you use it at your own risk.

(d) Compliance with WebLords Policies.
You must be in full compliance with the Visuland Terms of Service, Community Standards, Trademark Guidelines, and all other policies of WebLords.

(e) Sublicensee or Transferee Obligations.

If you wish to allow others to distribute or use your snapshots and machinima, you may sublicense or transfer your License To Use your snapshots and machinima. If you do, the sublicensee or transferee must assume your obligations under paragraph 2(c) of this Policy.


3) Legal Provisions


(a) No Limitations on Fair Use or Use of Public Domain Works.

This Policy does not limit fair use or use of public domain works. However, because the law may or may not recognize fair use or public domain status in different situations, we suggest consulting a lawyer before relying on any fair use or public domain status.

(b) No Warranties.

The content licensed under this Policy is licensed on an “as is” basis. WebLords makes no warranties of any kind regarding the licensed content, including but not limited to any warranties of title or non-infringement of third-party rights.

 

(c) Modification of This Policy.

WebLords may modify this Policy as provided in the Visuland Terms of Service.

4. Definitions.

(a) “3D content” means any objects, primitives, or other creative works or works of authorship that are three dimensional.

(b) “In-world” means within the three-dimensional virtual world environment of Visuland.

(c) “Licenses” means the License To Capture and License To Use that are provided in paragraph 1 of this Policy.

(c) “Machinima” means a film or computer animation generated using the real-time three-dimensional graphics-rendering engine of Visuland.

(d) “Capture machinima” means to film or record machinima.

(d) “Visuland Core World” means the Visuland virtual world provided on the www.visuland.com website.

(f) “Private World owner” means the owner of the website of which a Visuland Private World runs on

(g) “WebLords” means WebLords, Ltd.

(h) “Private world” means a private version of Visuland, provided to anyone under the conditions laid out on the www.visuland.biz website.

(i) “Policy” means this Snapshot and Machinima Policy.

(j) “Residents” mean users of Visuland.

(k) “Visuland” means the multi-user online service that WebLords offers, including the servers, software, and content that support the service and simulate the Visualnd virtual world environment and our websites and services available from the domain and subdomains of visuland.com.

(l) “Snapshot” means a screen capture, image capture, or photograph of the three-dimensional virtual world environment of Visuland.

(m) “Take a snapshot” means to photograph or capture a snapshot.

(n) “Use” means to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform.

(o) “We” means WebLords and the Residents of Visuland who are granting you the Licenses.

(p) “You” means the Residents of Visuland and WebLords who are recipients of the Licenses.

Community Standards

The goals of the Community Standards are simple: treat each other with respect and without harassment, adhere to local standards as indicated by simulator ratings, and refrain from any hate activity which slurs a real-world individual or real-world community.

The 'Sixpack' - Behavioral Guidelines

Within Visuland, we want to support Residents in shaping their specific experiences and making their own choices.

The Community Standards sets out six behaviors, the 'Sixpack', that will result in suspension or, with repeated violations, expulsion from the Visuland Community.

All Visuland Community Standards apply to all areas of Visuland, the Visuland Forums, if not stated otherways, in all Visuland Private Worlds, and the Visuland Website.


1)Intolerance

Combating intolerance is a cornerstone of Visuland's Community Standards. Actions that marginalize, belittle, or defame individuals or groups inhibit the satisfying exchange of ideas and diminish the Visuland community as a whole. The use of derogatory or demeaning language or images in reference to another Resident's race, ethnicity, gender, religion, or sexual orientation is never allowed in Visuland.

2)Assault

Most areas in Visuland are identified as Safe. Assault in Visuland means: shooting, pushing, or shoving another Resident in a Safe Area (see Global Standards below); creating or using scripted objects which singularly or persistently target another Resident in a manner which prevents their enjoyment of Visuland.

3)Harassment

Given the myriad capabilities of Visuland, harassment can take many forms. Communicating or behaving in a manner which is offensively coarse, intimidating or threatening, constitutes unwelcome sexual advances or requests for sexual favors, or is otherwise likely to cause annoyance or alarm is Harassment.

4)Disclosure

Residents are entitled to a reasonable level of privacy with regard to their Visuland experience. Sharing personal information about a fellow Resident --including gender, religion, age, marital status, race, sexual preference, and real-world location beyond what is provided by the Resident in their Resident profile is a violation of that Resident's privacy. Remotely monitoring conversations, posting conversation logs, or sharing conversation logs without consent are all prohibited in Visuland and on the Visuland Forums.

5)Adult Regions, Groups, and Listings

Visuland is an adult community, but "Adult" content, activity and communication are not permitted on the Visuland "core-world." Such material is permitted in Private Worlds. In either case, any Adult content, activity, or communication, that falls under our Adult Maturity Definition must be on regions designated as "Adult," and will be filtered from non-verified accounts. Other regions may be designated as either "Moderate" or "General." For more information on how to designate land, events, groups, and classified listings, please carefully read the"Maturity Definitions."

6)Disturbing the Peace

Every Resident has a right to live their Visuland. Disrupting scheduled events, repeated transmission of undesired advertising content, the use of repetitive sounds, following or self-spawning items, or other objects that intentionally slow server performance or inhibit another Resident's ability to enjoy Visuland are examples of Disturbing the Peace.

Policies and Policing

Global Standards, Local Ratings

All areas of Visuland, including the www.visuland.com website and the Visuland Forums, adhere to the same Community Standards. Regions within Visuland are noted as Safe or Unsafe and should be designated by the VL account holder as either "Adult," "Moderate" or "General." Resident behavior within each region must conform to the respective local rating.

Warning, Suspension, Banishment

Visuland is a complex society, and it can take some time for new Residents to gain a full understanding of local customs and mores. Generally, violations of the Community Standards will first result in a Warning, followed by Suspension and eventual Banishment from Visuland. In-World Representatives, called Admins, may occasionally address disciplinary problems with a temporary removal from Visuland.


Global Attacks

Objects, scripts, or actions which broadly interfere with or disrupt the Visuland community, the Visuland servers or other systems related to Visuland will not be tolerated in any form. We will hold you responsible for any actions you take, or that are taken by objects or scripts that belong to you. If you chose to use a script that substantially disrupts the operation of Visuland, disciplinary actions will result in a minimum two-week suspension, the possible loss of in-world inventory, and a review of your account for probable expulsion from Visuland.


Alternate Accounts


While Residents may choose to play Visuland with more than one account, specifically or consistently using an alternate account to harass other Residents or violate the Community Standards is not acceptable. Alternate accounts are generally treated as separate from a Resident's principal account, but misuse of alternate accounts can and will result in disciplinary action on the principal account.


Buyer Beware


WebLords does not exercise editorial control over the content of Visuland, and will make no specific efforts to review the textures, objects, sounds or other content created within Visuland. Additionally, WebLords does not certify or endorse the operation of in-world games, vending machines, or retail locations; refunds must be requested from the owners of these objects.

Reporting Abuse

Residents should report violations of the Community Standards using the "Contact Us" option on either www.visuland.com or www.visuland.biz. We review these abuse reports, and the identity of the reporter is kept strictly confidential.

Gambling Policy

Visuland Provides the user with several options to satisfy one’s gambling needs. However, it must be emphasized, that bets and prizes of any gambling activity conducted in the Visuland environment may not be provided in real-life currencies or things of value. It is allowed in Visuland to participate in gambles provided by the Visuland staff, though wagering is limited to the participants of our “skill-based” games.

It is a violation of this policy to wager in games in the Visuland environment operated on WebLords Ltd. servers if such games:

A)Rely on chance or random number generation to determine a winner, or rely on the outcome of real-life organized sporting events,

AND provide a payout in

B)Any real-world currency or thing of value.

This includes (but is not limited to), for example, Casino Games such as:

Baccarat

Blackjack

Craps

Faro

Keno

Pachinko

Pai Gow

Poker

Roulette

Sic Bo

Slot machines

 

It also includes Sports Books or Sports Betting, including the placing of bets on actual sporting events against a book-maker or through a betting exchange.

WebLords will actively enforce this policy. If we discover gambling activities that violate the policy, we will remove all related objects from the inworld environment, may suspend or terminate the accounts of residents involved without refund or payment, and may report any relevant details, including user information, to authorities and financial institutions.

Banking Policy

The operation or facilitation of inworld "banking," i.e., the offering of interest or a rate of return on any virtual currency invested or deposited is strictly forbidden in Visuland. It is prohibited to offer interest or any direct return on an investment (whether in virtual or real currency) from any object, such as an ATM, located in Visuland, without proof of an applicable government registration statement or financial institution charter.

WebLords does not apply this policy to companies who submit a registration statement, charter, or other applicable license from a governing regulatory authority, or who are merely conducting marketing or education, but not accepting payments.

Age Play Policy

Altough the lack of childlike avatars in Visuland at the time prevents such events to occur, we would like to emphasize that WebLords does not, in any way support sexual "age play"(depictions of, or engagement in, sexualized conduct with avatars that resemble children).

Any attempts to conduct such an act within Visuland counts as a violation of the Terms of Service and will lead to account termination and legal responses.
